Job Description:

We are searching for a skilled Data Architect to be part of our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Big Data technologies, including Apache Spark, Kafka, Cloud Native solutions, and Data Lakes. This role focuses on customer interactions post-sales, emphasizing on technical architecture and consulting. The candidate must possess significant expertise in the Databricks environment and proficiency in Python or Scala.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable Big Data architectures utilizing Apache Spark, Kafka, and Cloud Native solutions.
  • Create and uphold robust data lakes to cater to analytics and data management needs.

Customer Engagement:

  • Collaborate closely with customers post-sales to grasp their requirements and provide customized Big Data solutions.
  • Offer technical architecture and consulting support to ensure successful deployment and integration of Databricks-based solutions.

Databricks Ecosystem:

  • Harness the Databricks platform for designing and optimizing data processing pipelines.
  • Employ Databricks features and functionalities to meet client needs and enhance data workflows.

Coding and Development:

  • Script and enhance code in Python or Scala for supporting data integration and processing tasks.
  • Develop tailor-made solutions and scripts to streamline data workflows and enhance efficiency.

Cloud Platform Expertise:

  • Operate across multiple cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) for designing and executing cloud-based Big Data solutions.
  • Ensure scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness of data solutions across various cloud environments.

Documentation and Communication:

  • Produce detailed technical documentation and diagram solutions for internal and client utilization.
  • Effectively communicate intricate technical ideas to various stakeholders.

Skill Development:

  • Continuously enhance technical skills supporting the deployment and integration of Databricks-based solutions.
  • Keep updated with the latest advancements in Big Data technologies and cloud platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:

  • Over 10 years of experience with Big Data technologies like Apache Spark, Kafka, Cloud Native solutions, and Data Lakes.
  • More than 6 years of independent work on Big Data architectures.

Technical Skills:

  • Extensive experience in the Databricks ecosystem.
  • Proficient in Python or Scala coding.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional documentation and whiteboarding skills.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Efficient in customer-facing roles delivering technical architecture and consulting services.
