The Corporate Travel Manager position at Roambee is a comprehensive and dynamic role that encompasses a wide range of responsibilities and skills.

The primary objective of this role is to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and comfortable travel arrangements for the company's employees, top management, and guests.

This involves meticulous planning, coordination, and management of various aspects of corporate travel.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel Bookings:

  • Utilize online booking engines to design domestic and international itineraries.
  • Create travel itineraries considering work responsibilities, company policies, airline services, and costeffectiveness.
  • Manage travel bookings for Roambee Employees globally and Guests.
  • Ensure advance travel bookings for important trade events, offsites, and more.

Documentation & Foreign Exchange Management:

  • Process Visa documentation and Passport issuance/reissuance.
  • Arrange foreign exchange and advances as per company policies.
  • Issue overseas travel insurance policies for business trips.
  • Maintain corporate agreements/contracts with travelrelated vendors.
  • Generate travel MIS reports and maintain itinerary records.
  • Coordinate with the finance department for timely vendor payments.

Hotel Bookings:

  • Arrange hotel bookings for domestic and international travel.
  • Coordinate with local travel desk personnel for additional formalities.

Miscellaneous:

  • Arrange local travel and pickups
  • Arrange local numbers for international travelers.
  • Negotiate corporate deals with hotels and travel agents.

Travel Operations:

  • Ensure cost efficiency and quality control in hotel accommodations.
  • Tie up with highquality service apartments and hotels in hightraffic locations.
  • Manage surface travel arrangements ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Regularly review and publish MIS for feedback from business.

Finance & Accounting:

  • Manage monthly provision errorfree.
  • Work closely with Finance and Accounts for travel submission and payments.
  • Handle credit card programs and charges.

Mitigate Risk & Cost Control:

  • Ensure compliance in all aspects of travel procedures.
  • Monitor costs and negotiate contracts with airlines and travel service providers.

Personal Attributes:

  • Strong communication, planning, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interact with Senior Management and global employees.
  • Strong customer orientation and negotiation skills.
  • Reliable, hard worker with integrity and honesty.
  • Effective team leadership.

Experience:

  • 10+ years in the Travel Industry. Proficient in MS Office and various travel Portals. Knowledge of international travel regulations and currencies. Experience in implementing travel policies and integrating travel portals with finance/accounts.

Qualification:

  • Graduation/Diploma in Travel & Tourism; IATA Certification preferred.
  • Additional qualification with a bachelor's degree or MBA.

Additional Skills:

  • Exceptional traveler care and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle domestic and international travel arrangements.
  • Flexibility to work in a varied environment.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and international routings.
  • Proficiency in financials and card reconciliation.
