Multimedia Developer Job Description

  • Develop graphics and animations based on client needs and company standards
  • Design and develop complex animations using experience, creativity skills and independent judgement
  • Provide design support to multimedia development and enhancement projects
  • Complete project assignments within allotted budget and timeline
  • Attend client meetings to understand project requirements
  • Assist in development of storyboarding to display the flow of animation sequence
  • Develop life-like animated objects using Actionscript, AIR, Flash, and Flex
  • Attend team meetings to discuss about design ideas and issues
  • Stay updated with the latest design technology and techniques
  • Ensure proper use of design templates, standards, and style sheets
  • Supervise and guide other developers in assigned projects
  • Conduct test trial with new design technologies and equipment
  • Identify and troubleshoot design related problems in a timely fashion
  • Report complex design issues to Design Lead and Project Manager
  • Investigate, analyse and recommend appropriateequipment and software to achieve client objectives
  • Prepare flow diagrams and storyboards to outline product concepts
  • Prepare code to produce the multimedia product
  • Prepare digital graphics, animations, sound, video, photographs and images for editing
  • Prepare design concepts
Multimedia Skills

  • A strong background in HTML, HTML5 and Adobe Suite (After Effects, Premier Pro, Media Encoder, Action Script 3, etc)
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS and/or XML a plus, Working knowledge of Flash media elements
  • An understanding of streaming, Flash and HTML5
  • Pro-active and willing to take initiatives and responsibilities
  • Highly self motivated, hard-working and ambitious in achieving goals and ready to do whatever it takes
  • Should be creative, with artistic flair and with good imagination, analytics and high order thinking skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with dynamic workload and time pressure
  • The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
  • Minimum work experience of 1 – 5 years. Freshers may also apply
  • Excellent aptitude, manipulative, behavioural, computational, presentation, verbal, written, interpersonal, communications and teaching skills and should be fluent in English
  • Up-to-date with recent technological advances and developments, advances in computer technology and how this affects the business environment and have a strong client focus
  • Ability to work under pressure with dynamic workload and time pressure
  • Ability to both lead and follow instructions and give appropriate input and suggestions when required to
  • Should be adaptable and able to pick up new, better and advanced techniques whenever required to
  • He/she should be able to work perfectly in every possible condition, situation, place or work environment we put him/her into
