We are thrilled to offer you the chance to join us as a SecOps Lead. In this full-time, permanent role based in Mumbai, India, with regional coverage, you will play a crucial role in the growth of our Information Security Department.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day activities of the security operations center (SOC), which includes monitoring, incident detection, investigation, and response.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of SOC operations by implementing advanced threat detection and response technologies.
  • Collaborate with various teams to identify, evaluate, and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities throughout the organization.
  • Update and maintain SOC policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Assist in internal and external audit processes by supplying pertinent documentation, evidence, and insights into SOC operations and efficacy.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of SOC performance, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to steer ongoing enhancements.
  • Stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies, and offer suggestions for proactive risk reduction and security bolstering.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on best practices, technologies, and methodologies related to cybersecurity operations.

Key requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
  • Possess at least 6-8 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, specializing in threat detection, incident response, and SOC management.
  • Demonstrate strong technical skills in security information and event management (SIEM) tools, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint detection and response (EDR), and other cybersecurity technologies.
  • Ability to support audit and compliance endeavors, including knowledge of regulatory frameworks like GDPR, ISO, etc.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities to evaluate complex security incidents and offer timely, risk-based recommendations.
  • Effective leadership and team management proficiencies, with experience in leading and guiding a team of cybersecurity professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and convey intricate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
