Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Infrastructure Monitoring :
Implement and manage cloud infrastructure monitoring solutions to ensure the availability, performance, and security of cloud environments.

Observability Systems Design :

  • Design and develop observability systems, utilizing tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch to provide insights into application and infrastructure performance.

Logging and Tracing Implementation :

  • Implement logging and tracing mechanisms for cloudbased applications, enabling comprehensive analysis and troubleshooting of system behavior.

Incident Response and Resolution :

  • Respond to incidents promptly, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and optimize cloud resource utilization.

Automation and Scripting :

  • Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline observability processes and enhance the efficiency of monitoring solutions.

Performance Optimization :

  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to optimize application performance based on insights derived from observability systems.

Infrastructure Security Monitoring :

  • Implement security monitoring practices for cloud infrastructure, ensuring early detection and mitigation of potential security threats.

Capacity Planning and Scaling Strategies :

  • Conduct capacity planning and contribute to scaling strategies based on observation data, anticipating and meeting the evolving demands of cloud-based applications.

Documentation and Reporting :

  • Maintain clear documentation of observability processes, configurations, and incident responses.
  • Generate regular reports for stakeholders highlighting system performance and improvements.

Continuous Learning :

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to cloud observability, continually improving skills and contributing innovative ideas to the team.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven 5 to 7 years of experience in cloud observability and monitoring.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, and cloudnative monitoring solutions.
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
  • Knowledge of incident response procedures and capacity planning.
  • Understanding of security monitoring practices in cloud environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in crossfunctional teams.
