The primary task entails creating precise and comprehensive documentation for Salesforce implementations, encompassing business needs, functional specifications, user instructions, and workflow processes.


Key Responsibilities:

Business/Functional Analysis:

  • Engage in business and functional analysis to collect and record business requirements for Salesforce implementations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and development teams to define functional specifications and solution designs.

Documentation Development:

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for Salesforce implementations, including but not limited to:
  • Business requirements documents (BRDs)
  • Functional requirements documents (FRDs)
  • Process workflows and diagrams
  • User stories and use cases
  • User guides and training materials

Technical Writing:

  • Craft clear, precise, and comprehensive technical documentation for Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations.
  • Translate intricate technical concepts into straightforward documentation for non-technical users and stakeholders.

Quality Assurance:

  • Review and edit documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established standards and guidelines.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to verify that documentation meets the needs of end-users and stakeholders.

Training and Knowledge Sharing:

  • Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops to educate users and stakeholders on Salesforce functionality, processes, and best practices.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to foster continuous improvement and innovation.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to ensure alignment of documentation with project goals and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver updates, and address feedback and concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Experience of 9 to 11 years in technical writing, focusing on Salesforce documentation and business/functional analysis.
  • Thorough understanding of Salesforce platform functionalities, configurations, and integrations.
  • Experience with business analysis techniques and methodologies, such as requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, and use case definition.
  • Proficiency in documentation tools and software, including Microsoft Office Suite, Confluence, and Salesforce Knowledge.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Salesforce certifications like Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder are considered advantageous.
