JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop Service Now enhancements and modifications to existing applications such as ITSM, CMDB as well as create custom applications.
  • Create and modify catalog items, portals, workflows, flow designer, and other Service Now development functions.
  • Support, edit, and create integrations to other products and services including the use of integration hub and orchestration, webservices, APIs, and related transform mappings.
  • Work as a team to troubleshoot complex issues or complex development but also be able to work on your own independently from others.
  • Triage and support issues from users on the Service Now platform and related applications and modules.
  • Document and annotate scripts, process flows, update sets, and other workflows associated with Service Now development.
  • Conducts system analysis, process flows, system interfaces, validations, testing, training, implementation, and change management.
  • Work closely with business leadership to respond to, and proactively identify, challenges that can be solved with system and/or process improvements.
  • Work closely and effectively with others to maintain consistent process and documentation around requirements, design, development & deployment.
  • Prepare necessary documentation and perform adequate knowledge transfer to the support, administration and learning and development teams to ensure effective change management and adoption.
  • Maintains membership in relevant industry groups and conferences
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • 5-8 years of experience in a system engineering role
  • 4-6 years of hands-on Service Now administration and implementation
  • Service Now Certified System Administration Certification required
  • Desired Service Now Certified Application Developer
  • Deep working knowledge of ITSM, ITIL, CMDB, Integration Hub, and Flow Designer
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills and willingness to present on a variety of functional or technical topics to broad audiences.
