Responsibilities:

  • Define and prioritize the features and user stories for the project.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure that the project stays on track and meets the intended feel, audience, and core vision.
  • Communicate with the client to gather requirements, provide project updates, and address change management.
  • Manage the product's backlog and ensure that it is properly maintained and up to date.
  • Conduct user/client testing and implement user/client feedback into the product.
  • Support marketing and sales efforts to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction and use the data collected to evolve the product.
  • Set the longterm business and development roadmap for the product.
  • Manage, mentor, and guide your team in order to help them achieve their goals and contribute to the success of the organization.
  • Conceptualize, design, and prepare documentation for the product's new features and content.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure the vision is carried over from documentation to execution.
  • Work with the UI/UX team and programmers to guide the art direction of the product.
  • Design and interpret ingame analytics for the product.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years in a game development related field, with at least 2+ year experience in a product leadership role at a tech or gaming company.
  • Experience in a product owner or management role, creating product roadmaps, crafting product requirements, and specifications.
  • Strong background in Unity game development and mobile app development, including iOS and Android.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodology (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience with React Native or a similar near native framework.
  • Experience working on largescale projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively manage client expectations.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage the project's backlog.
