Quality Assurance (QA) is responsible for ensuring testing strategies, plans and deliverables are executed for all applications and programs of work within their domain. Work includes: Designing and conducting testing procedures and frameworks to verify software and other technical products to ensure expected functional performance. Investigating instances where software and technical products do not perform as expected. Designing and conducting quality assurance practices to support business development activities. Driving the adoption of recognized best practice and policy and contributes to the ongoing improvement of methodologies and assets for the business. Working with their counterparts across the business to raise the standard of QA across the bank. Recording of defects and the collation of metrics and KPI information for reporting purposes. Testing disciplines include: Performance Testing, Test Automation, Test Processes, Testing Products.

Ensure project / program adherence to the Bank's standard QA and Testing processes throughout the SDLC for each release. Ensure cross-project and program dependencies are identified early and managed accordingly. Experience in the areas of testing with specialization in Automation testing. Hands on experience in Web Applications Automation Testing. Hands on experience in middleware/backend service-based application Testing. Experience in Usability, Functional and Browser Compatibility testing. Experience in Agile test methodology. Individual must have experience of working within full Agile teams. They will need to have experience working within a fully functional team that performs analysis, dev and test for feature slices. Experience in Defect tracking tools and Test reports. Liaise with the DevOps team and carry on the testing effectively. Should be good in communication and handle the stake holders effectively. Identify the automation areas and provide roadmap to proceed further.• Build automated Regression Testing capability. Experience of performing Functional Analysis is highly desirable. Champion and participate in the activities of the broader QA and Testing community For internal use only Support the development of an environment where people management and development is the number one priority. Coaches direct reports and others in the organization, as appropriate Acts as a role model for new employees, providing help and support to facilitate early integration into their new environment.
Your skills and experience
10+ years' experience in QA & Testing, with a minimum of 3 years gained within Investment Banking. Proven experience of managing QA & Testing across the full SDLC on large scale projects or programs. In depth knowledge of QA & Testing industry best practices and tools, including Jira and ALM/QC. Hands on Experience in Selenium, Protractor, Rest Assured, Gherkin, Cucumber, Jenkins, Jmeter, loadRunner etc. Working knowledge on Java is mandate. Experience of SQL is a must, PL/SQL would be desirable. Experience of conducting performance tests analysis is highly desirable. Proven experience of defining and implementing program level test strategies Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate at senior level. Proven experience of delivering results in matrixed organizations under pressure and tight timescales Experience of implementing test automation frameworks. Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related fieldHow we'll support you
