Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) 2 to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both automation and manual testing, with expertise in building automated test frameworks and tools. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through comprehensive testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and design comprehensive test plans. Execute automated and manual tests to ensure the quality of software products. Identify, document, and track software defects and work with development teams to resolve issues. Perform code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and testability. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing into the development process. Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system reliability and scalability. Mentor junior SDETs and provide technical guidance on best practices in test automation and quality assurance.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 3-5 years of experience in software development and/or test automation. Proficiency Java programming languages. Python knowledge is a plus. Strong knowledge of mobile application testing. Strong experience with Mobile test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Appium, JUnit, TestNG). Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured). Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Knowledge of version control systems (Git). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, Battery historian, profiler etc). Knowledge of security testing practices and tools. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
