Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain menus that are creative, innovative, and aligned with our restaurant's concept and target clientele
  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation
  • Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and consistency
  • Train and manage kitchen staff, providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring that the kitchen is clean, sanitary, and safe for food preparation
  • Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies
  • Monitor food costs and implement strategies to minimize waste and maximize profitability
  • Stay uptodate on current culinary trends and techniques
  • Work closely with the frontofhouse staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a highvolume restaurant environment
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of a variety of cuisines
  • Ability to develop and execute creative and innovative menus
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong leadership and teambuilding skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor
  • Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
Education

  • Culinary degree from an accredited culinary school or equivalent experience
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent
