The NAV Developer's primary responsibility is to carry out configuration and development activities to Saxo Bank's Microsoft Dynamics NAV system.

In addition to this, the NAV Developer will be required to analyse and contribute to functional specifications provided by business users and produce technical specifications in line with agreed standards.

The primary focus will be Microsoft Dynamics NAV development, with additional activities using SQL and .NET.The NAV Developer is involved in each stage of the software development lifecycle, from helping to assess the feasibility of an identified business requirement, through documentation, development, testing and delivery.

The NAV Developer is responsible for importing and exporting data from NAV to several other applications and taking a proactive approach to streamlining systems processes and performance.


Responsibilities :
Configure, develop and deliver MS Dynamics NAV software and components in Financial areas.
Create new and modify existing customisations and integrations as requested by the businessPerform data conversions, system upgrades, debug system problems, and craft resolutionsInstallation and implementation of service packs and hot fixes as neededTechnical liaison to business groups for application supportTest functionality developed by the development team against business requirementsSupport and drive process change and communication in line with NAV best practiceCoordinate and contribute to end-user training including development of system documentation and training materialsAssist with functional specifications of customisations and integrations required for NAV implementationsProvide pre-go-live and post-go-live end user supportServe as the NAV technical expert on the development teamTake responsibility for the customised unit programming and overall system functionalityWork with the Project Managers, Business Analyst and Consultants to understand the business / application requirements of the assigned tasksTake responsibility for delivering development tasks within agreed budgets and timelinesCreation of technical documentation for customisations and integrations

Your Profile :
Professional certification and accreditation strongly recommended or equivalent work experienceMicrosoft Dynamics NAV certification(s) in related discipline a plusMinimum 8 years of ERP programming experiences and hands on work with full life cycle implementations8 or more years' experience as a software developer specifically working with NAV C/SIDE C/AL development languageRole Tailored Client (RTC) development experience (including page and report development in Visual Studio)Experience with NAV 2013 and later versionsAL/BC Experience is a plusExperience working with common third-party add-on solutions and their integration with MS NAV highly desirableSQL Experience is a plusWeb Development / Power BI programming experience a plusPrior NAV upgrade and data migration experiences highly desiredAbility to document code customisations and integrations in compliance with established standards and practicesAbility to translate customer business requirements and specifications into code solutions along with the ability to develop and manage hours estimatesAbility to debug errors efficientlyCapable of managing multiple assignments simultaneouslyCapable of testing one's own work and deliver working productsAble to understand, communicate and interpret key user business processes and requirementsAble to thrive in a collaborative atmosphereExcellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple demandsProven ability to write effective system and process documentation –including business and system requirements, process diagrams, and data flow chartsExceptional customer service skills and follows up with clients and team members, and takes initiative to anticipate and solve problemsAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of the businessAbility to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives with a minimum of supervision
