Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Director of Master Data Management to lead our enterprise team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing master data solutions using cutting-edge tools and technologies, focusing on processes, policies, governance, and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute MDM strategies, policies, and procedures to efficiently manage master data assets in compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Implement and maintain MDM systems, tools, and technologies aligned with business goals.
  • Lead MDM initiatives for the implementation of SAP S/4HANA, ensuring integration with enterprise-wide systems.
  • Oversee the phased deployment of MDM solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Plan and execute data migration strategies to maintain data integrity during system transitions.
  • Harmonize data across business units to ensure consistency and accuracy in data management.
  • Establish a robust data governance framework, including defining roles and responsibilities.
  • Integrate MDM policies into all systems and applications in collaboration with data and technology teams.
  • Stay updated on MDM trends and technologies, identifying innovation opportunities.
  • Drive change management initiatives for MDM process adoption across the organization.
  • Manage a team of MDM experts and champions, collaborating with business functions and data platform teams.
  • Develop and deliver MDM training programs for stakeholders.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional Experience: Over 20 years of experience in master data management or related fields.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in MDM technologies like SAP MDG, Reltio, Informatica, and more.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and manage external partners.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience in collaborating with business stakeholders and technology teams.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills with experience in complex MDM projects.
  • Executive Relationships: Exceptional skills in building executive-level relationships.
  • Program Execution: Experience in leading large-scale programs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent persuasion, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
