We are looking for a Senior Visualizer and Designer to oversee digital and print creative solutions to address our marketing needs. The role spans both creative and managerial aspects.

To be successful in this role, you should possess a combination of creative expertise, leadership skills, and project management capabilities to effectively lead a team and drive successful design outcomes.

You should have in-depth knowledge of graphic design, styles, and layout techniques. You should also have experience executing marketing projects from conception to production, including websites, brochures, infographics, and video. This role involves the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing, and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts, mailers, webpages, infographics, and videos.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure the quality and timely delivery of design projects
  • Planning: Engage with stakeholders to understand project objectives, develop design strategies, and translate them into actionable plans
  • Design Ideation: Generate ideas to develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using Adobe Creative Cloud, Corel, and other software as well as work on the design aspects of webpages using technologies like Figma
  • Design Execution: Oversee the end-to-end design process, from conceptualization to final execution, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines, project requirements, and industry standards
  • Quality Control: Review design work to maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and innovation. Build and manage a visual design language for the brand to ensure that there is a distinct visual identity
  • Project Management: Manage project timelines and design resources effectively, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and deliverables
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative work environment, encouraging open communication, creativity, and teamwork among team members
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up to date on design trends, tools, and technologies, and share knowledge with the team to promote professional development and growth

Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a Senior Visualizer/Designer or similar role
  • Extensive experience in graphic design, visual communication, and branding across various mediums (print, digital, web, etc.)
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate team members
  • Creative and innovative mindset, with a keen eye for aesthetics, typography, color theory, and layout design
  • Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and familiarity with emerging design tools and platforms
  • Experience in video creating and editing
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically, identify issues, and develop practical solutions
  • Experience leading and managing design teams, including recruiting, training, and performance management
  • Proficient in project management, including planning, organizing, prioritizing tasks, and managing resources to meet project goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts, present ideas effectively, and collaborate with stakeholders
