Job Description

This is a full-time position for a Dispute/Litigation Lawyer specializing in commercial, civil, and criminal law.

Our focus involves advising top companies and financial institutions on a variety of intricate civil and commercial litigation cases as well as arbitration.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Qualified LLB or LLM from a prestigious law school in India or abroad (licensed to practice in India).
  • 3-4 years of proven experience in civil/commercial litigation with strong procedural knowledge of SC/HC, and experience in arbitration with a top-tier law firm/reputable Chambers.
  • Familiarity with essential laws such as CPC, Arbitration Act, Contract Act, Specific Relief Act, Limitation Act, Insolvency Code, Evidence Act, Arbitration and Conciliation Act.

  • Solution-focused approach with the ability to independently close transactions with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with all stakeholders (internal and external).

  • Comprehensive understanding of various legal subjects, with the capacity to identify issues, engage specialists as necessary, and stay updated on legal developments.
  • Drive for technical excellence by keeping abreast of legal advancements and serving as a subject matter expert.
  • Good analytical skills and experience across different legal domains.
  • Adaptable team player who can quickly adjust to changes and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proactive and hands-on approach, ready to tackle challenges and find solutions.
Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Matter Preparation:
  • Understanding case facts, conducting legal research and analysis, obtaining expert opinions, preparing arguments with relevant case laws, and briefing senior counsel/team seniors.
  • Client Engagement:

Understanding case details and client needs, advising clients strategically, providing regular updates, adhering to timelines, and coordinating documentation and briefings.

  • Drafting:
  • Creating, reviewing, and negotiating legal pleadings/documents, discussing strategies with the team/seniors, addressing legal and contractual issues, and developing innovative solutions.
