Responsibilities
As a Data Engineering Architect, you will need to have hands-on experience in delivering end-to-end data applications using modern tools and technologies. Here is an overview of what we are looking for:
  • Total 14+ years of experience working with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Cloud, Data Lakes, Data Warehouse in a customer-facing role.
  • Minimum of 5+ years independently working on Big Data Architectures.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience with database/data warehouse platforms like Oracle, Teradata, Snowflake, Red Shift, etc.
  • Strong expertise in cloud technologies across GCP, AWS, and Azure.
  • Good documentation and whiteboarding skills.
  • Experience handling client interactions and conflict management effectively.
  • Skills in building technical solutions supporting the deployment and integration of Databricks-based solutions.
  • Ability to design and develop data engineering solutions covering ingestion, integration, and provisioning.
  • Proficiency in developing data platform architectures in Cloud platforms like Azure, GCP, and AWS.
  • Knowledge of optimizing data and ML pipelines for better performance, cost, and reusability.
  • Experience working with ETL and Data Movement tools for different data patterns - realtime, near-realtime, and batch.
  • Strong grasp of continuous integration, static code analysis, and test-driven development principles.
  • Experience delivering projects in a collaborative model with onsite and offshore teams.
  • Adaptability to rapidly changing business environments and fast-paced settings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential for effective collaboration.
