About the Role
As a Human Resources Intern, you will play a pivotal role in our talent acquisition process. You will be tasked with identifying, attracting, and assessing candidates to ensure we maintain a talented and diverse workforce. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in recruitment, allowing you to develop essential skills in HR management.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and updating job descriptions to attract top talent.
- Utilize various online channels, including social media and professional platforms like Naukri, Indeed, and Behance, to source potential candidates.
- Craft engaging recruiting emails to entice passive candidates.
- Screen resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates.
- Conduct initial interviews via phone, video, and in-person meetings.
- Coordinate and administer assessments, including numerical, language, and logical reasoning tests.
- Advertise job openings on our careers page, social media platforms, job boards, and internally.
- Provide hiring managers with shortlists of qualified candidates.
- Facilitate job offer negotiations and address candidate queries regarding compensation and benefits.
- Monitor key HR metrics such as time-to-fill and source of hire.
- Participate in job fairs and organize in-house recruitment events.
- Collaborate with managers to anticipate and address future hiring needs.
- Act as a consultant to new hires, assisting with their onboarding process.
- Previous experience in HR recruitment or a related role is preferred.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and resume databases.
- Proficiency in sourcing techniques and understanding of referral programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Pursuing or possessing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, or a relevant field.
- Knowledge of various online recruitment channels and platforms.
- Comfortable with team management responsibilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to personal and professional development.
- Active engagement in the Human Resources community.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, or a relevant field.
