responsibly developing metrics and reporting

ensuring we provide

transparency into our data environment

allowing effective risk management


through report creation and facilitation of self-service reporting, with the strategic vision of creating a center of excellence with our partners for all data governance metrics and reporting, enabling Citi to make data-driven decisions for growth and progress.

Through partnership with multiple Data Executive, Business and Technology partners, the team supports the end-to-end process of Data Governance metrics & reporting, from metrics design, identification & calculation through data sourcing and reporting visualization & production.

The team also plays a key role in managing the internal governance processes, including several regulatory commitments, related to Citi's Transformation Program.


Role & Responsibilities:


This Reporting Development & Delivery Lead role focuses on driving the strategic design, development, implementation, and ongoing evolution of data governance metrics reporting & dashboards across Citi.

This is a key role as part of a dynamic team whose mission is to support the critical transformation work driving the future state of enterprise data governance metrics and reporting.

Specific responsibilities include:


Data Acquisition & Dashboard Metric DevelopmentDeveloping, designing, building, deploying, & managing new and existing meaningful data metrics that drive visibility, accountability, and action across CITIThe outcomes of data governance metrics are expected to drive business impacts, including risk reductionIncrease flexibility of Metric and Reporting team by implementing and managing agile methodologies via JIRA.Responsible for the transformation of metrics and reporting requirementsPromote and ensure business requirement documentation, development and operationalization of metrics and reports follows CITI approved processes and agile methodology.


Stakeholder EngagementSupporting enterprise-wide data governance metrics and reporting across multiple levels of audiences (eg., Board, EMT, DTLC, FCDO)Develop and maintain excellent working relationship across our network of data governance partners and drive Citi's vision for best practices as it relates to data governance metrics and reporting.

Partner with Technology to effectively plan & manage key reporting activities including, but not limited to backlog review, sprint planning, and user acceptance testing.

Responsible for managing and coordinating with stakeholders, setting expectations and meeting designated targets ( CAPs, RBCMs).Lead stakeholder communications & updates regarding enhancements, changes and downtime; serve as a SME and technical expert to internal team and stakeholders; respond to questions & inquiries as needed.

Identify options & alternatives and advise on metrics design, sourcing, evolution/expansion; troubleshoot potential risks and issues with metrics owners

Risk & ControlDesign, develop, implement & monitor Data Governance reporting-related risks and controls.

Promote and ensure a risk and control mindset, including documentation, sustainability, scalability and stability of the metrics, within the team and beyond.

Ensure proper resiliency, stability, & sustainability planning and testing for published reports & dashboards.

Skills:
Key skills for success in this role include:Strong experience working with metrics and reporting of metrics.

Demonstrated experience with Agile delivery methodology and SDLC (software development lifecycle).

Demonstrated project management experience, including level of effort planning, prioritization, intake/new business analysis.

Automation, controls & process efficiency mindset.

Demonstrated experience in developing & maintaining internal governance & process management documentation.

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to recognize & comprehend complex issues to identify and recommend appropriate solutions.

Proven experience successfully working across stakeholder groups, internal team, technology, and functional & business partners.


Proven ability to proactively communicate meaningful updates & insights with a variety of stakeholders, including executive stakeholders & oversight partners, clearly & precisely to help management understand progress and risks.

Excellent interpersonal skills; must have a positive can-do attitude; must be solutions-oriented and forward thinking; "no surprises" mindset.


Ability to work independently and use a high level of independent judgment, while effectively partnering and communicating with a broader team.

Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives across multiple organizational groups.

Qualifications:
Key qualifications for this role include:13+ years experience in Data Governance / Management

Banking and/or Finance industry desired

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

JIRA training or certification is a plus
