  • Global Finance Centres (GFC) provides financial support services to business partners across the HSBC Group.
  • The Group Regulatory team is responsible for producing Capital structure, RWA, and Leverage disclosures in the Group Annual Report & Accounts, meeting Pillar 1, Pillar 3, and Regulatory MI Reporting requirements under Basel 3.
  • The role focuses on managing and supporting the Developments and Controls workstream within the CCR Regulatory Reporting team, responsible for monthly and quarterly returns for submission to the PRA and preparing analysis for internal customers and senior stakeholders.

What you'll do:

Principal Accountabilities KPI and Targets

Service Delivery

  • Manage and support the HBEU and Group CCR LER deliverables within the CCR Regulatory Reporting team effectively.
  • Design and perform front to back LER control process, ensuring all controls and adjustments are reviewed for reportable LER numbers.
  • Prepare and review monthly LER CCR Reporting and production deliverables, ensuring sign off.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality releases into production and manage the reporting process control framework.
  • Understand CCR Regulatory Reporting processes and relevant CRD IV / CRR Rules.

Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • Minimum years of experience in Regulatory Reporting with an understanding of CCR – SA-CCR Regulation
  • An accounting degree or other relevant qualifications. MBA, CA, CWA, CS, CPA, CFA a plus.
  • Strong Knowledge of Regulatory Environment including CRD IV / CRR Rules, BASEL norms, GSIB Reporting, Stress Testing & IFRS standards.
  • Be number savvy and have the appetite for handling and processing mass volume of data
  • Strong analytical and logical mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other query tools.
