1) Job Purpose


Aid the DH procurement in all the material receipt and Stores issue related activities as well as in developing systems for material receipt and stores issue activities.


2) Dimensions**:

Project site would involve ~1000 personnel working during peak.

Work would happen in all the three shifts.

All the safety related basic infrastructure need to be build ground up.

3) Job Context & Major Challenges:

Job Context:
Copper business has decided to enter in to Copper Inner Grooved Tube. Project location is decided as Vadodara and will be a greenfield project.

Job Challenges:
There are no basic infrastructure available at the site. The necessary infrastructure needs to be planned, designed, and erected.

Project is very sensitive to timelines as it is approved under PLI scheme of GoI and any delay related to project activities will result in rejection of incentives.


4) Key Result Areas/Accountabilities:

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

Supporting Actions
Develop and maintain a store area for the project

Develop a store area with in the premises.

Develop the SoPs and protocols for that store area and implement the same.

Maintain the store records and make it available for audit.

Material receipt at store

Ensure that material receipt is with all necessary documents for availing GST credit.

Maintain the documentation to avail GST credits are obtained for the project.

Coordinate with the transporters and other stake holders.

Store issue

Develop a system for store issue and maintain the same.

Implement the protocols of store issue and maintain the records.

Inventory control

Maintain the store records and keep the store books in order.

Determine and maintain order levels of items.

Initiate procurement actions at the right time.

Develop and implement FIFO system.

Minimize store damages

Safety

Ensure that all activities (including loading / unloading) under store is done in a safe manner.

Create SOP for Safety at store and implement the same.

Adopt relevant safety precautions during material storage.

Qualifications:

Post Graduate

Minimum Experience Level:

3-6 Years
