Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Area Sales Manager. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and leading a sales team, developing sales strategies, achieving sales targets and building STRCL business and cross-selling BL loans. They will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with retailers and distributors, conducting market research, and providing feedback on product improvement. This is an on-site role located in Delhi.

Responsibility:

  • Develop strategies and lead the ground team to increase revenue share and cross-sell products.
  • Responsible for driving the Business Loan which is pure term loans, and overseeing the distribution for cross-selling Home Loans (HL), Loan Against Property (LAP), and insurance products.
  • Hire necessary manpower, including Team Leaders (TL) and Executives, based on business needs.
  • Train and manage the team to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain daily relationship management with partners and the field team.
  • Oversee daily onboarding of new retailers onto the credit line option.
  • Drive self-sourcing and conduct open market visits to identify potential retailers and distributors.
  • Manage customer-related issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Conduct field visits to meet with customers and partner teams.
  • Ensure timely repayment of loans by customers.
  • Maintain the overall profit and loss (P&L) of the projects.
  • Ensure all executives earn monthly incentives.
  • Maintain a profitable business by achieving an ideal product mix.
  • Source local anchors to facilitate the Short-Term Credit Line (STRCL).

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • Candidate should have 2-4 years' experience in Channel / Invoice finance, business loans, working capital, Finance, or FMCG sector.
  • Knowledge of financial products and services
  • Proven experience in sales and team management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop sales strategies
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office and Google Spreadsheets
  • Good relationship management skills
  • Networking and influencing skills
  • Goal-oriented mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Should have worked in North markets
