Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial systems and budgets
  • Conduct financial audits (an independent check of the organization's financial position)
  • Offer financial advice
  • Review the company's systems and analyze risk
  • Perform tests to verify financial information and systems
  • Provide guidance on tax planning and tax issues related to activities like business acquisitions and mergers
  • Maintain accounting records, prepare accounts, and management
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors and address any financial irregularities
  • Generate reports and recommendations post internal or public sector audits
  • Prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts
  • Compile financial management reports, covering financial planning and forecasting
  • Offer advice on tax and treasury matters
