ExxonMobil Returnship Program

The ExxonMobil Returnship Program is tailored for experienced professionals looking to re-enter the workforce after a break for reasons such as childcare, accompanying spouse, or extended personal leave. Our 12-week Company-funded program, based in the office, offers returners a smooth reintegration through networking sessions, mentoring, training, and project assignments. Successful candidates may be considered for permanent positions at ExxonMobil upon program completion and a performance assessment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized university with a minimum GPA of 7.0/10 or equivalent
  • At least three years of experience in the oil and gas industry (Upstream, Refining, or Petrochemical) with a current career break
  • Prior experience in a Remote Technical Services role is desirable
Additional Skills – Non-Technical
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking abilities
  • Willingness to travel as needed, both domestically and internationally

What you will do in our team

  • Hands-on experience as a process engineer dealing with mass & volume balance troubleshooting for onshore oil and gas facilities
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to guide a team effectively, being open to constructive feedback
  • Technical expertise in sustaining workflow execution
  • Preferred experience with industry-specific volume allocation software such as Procount, Citrix Procount, Field Data Gathering Application, or similar tools
  • Preferred experience with data analysis and visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, JMP, SEEQ, Excel Macros, Python applications, or similar tools

The Production Accounting Analyst will play a role in maintaining and enhancing Production Accounting processes, technology applications, and should be capable of fulfilling the following responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of Production Accounting volumetric processes and systems
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to deliver time-sensitive results
  • Conduct remote troubleshooting with Business Unit support and generate necessary reports
  • Acquire and apply analytical tools for Production Accounting procedures
  • Supervise Quality Control processes for Contractor outcomes and coordinate actions with a Business Unit
