Product Owner– Joule

As a Joule and Gen AI product owner, you will play a crucial role in shaping SAP's vision and future by working on building a platform that provides natural language processing capabilities and integrates seamlessly with other SAP products, ultimately serving the dream of one unified digital assistant for SAP powered by LLMs. As a product owner of the team, you will be leading by example to the rest of the team.

By being part of the Joule team, you get to work on building a platform providing natural language processing capabilities paired with best-in-class integration stories for other SAP products to serve the dream of One unified Digital Assistant for SAP.

Product Management is responsible for the success, quality, costs, and delivery of a product as defined in the product portfolio.

· Functional hands-on

Builds the product road map and corresponding usage plan. Develops and drives the product vision, the road map, and the corresponding usage plan. Makes decisions about in-house developments, purchases, or partnerships on product level. Ensures the product delivery: Prioritizes and describes the product backlog. Ensures the delivery of high-quality specifications according to customer and user requirements, to create a competitive advantage for SAP. Ensures the delivery of high-quality products under customer requirements, including the completion of expert tests and validation of the planned and implemented scope across the entire product lifecycle (including the product-related non-coded assets). Works in close collaboration with other teams, such as release management, production, and governance. Coordinates the gathering and integration of feedback from different stakeholders, especially from customers and Solution Management. Ensures the maintenance of the product up until a potential handover. Contributes to efficiency, effectiveness, and process improvement. Technologies – SAP BTP, Gen AI Domain, Being part of the Gen AI revolution, knowing about the conversational experience. Having an understanding of SAP Systems like Success factors, S4.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree would be an advantage. · 8-10 years of working experience. · At least 3 years of experience in product management · Experience with SAP BTP having hands-on BTP experience is a great value add. · Demonstrable experience in managing AI or related technology projects. · Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization. · Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. · Having very good domain expertise of Joule and similar digital assistants will be a plu
