As a Motion Editor on the Creative Design team at Labcorp, you'll have the opportunity to take on a wide variety of video editing projects.

Reporting to a Creative Design Manager, you can showcase your passionate storytelling and your eye for detail while maintaining a blend of creative and technical production skills.

Using visual effects, animation, and other cinematic techniques, you'll deliver high-touch creations.

Special Factors:
Weekend and evening work as needed.

Work in office 2-3 days per week

Primary stakeholders are US-based between hours of 9 am - 6 pm EST; early shift advised

Principal Contacts and Scope of Communications
This motion editor position is remotely located and will multitask a variety of editing projects and work collaboratively with internal teams and senior
- or middle-level leaders on unique design asks. Many projects will consist of defined design tasks within templates or guideline restraints.

Responsibilities/Duties,

  • Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the project
  • Improve video and sound quality using various video software
  • Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to client's specifications
  • Collaborate with creative teammates and marketing teams
  • Responsible for assembling raw footage and transferring or uploading it to asset management systems.
  • Follow script and screenplay/outlines.
  • Work well within a fastpaced customer centric environment and with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Multitask and work efficiently under pressure with expert attention to; prioritize tasks effectively under tight timelines.
  • Work both independently and in a crossfunctional global team.
  • Be accountable and dependable but know when to ask for help.
  • Adapt to change and work though ambiguity, while interpreting feedback.

Minimum Required:

  • Background in Healthcare or Biopharmaceutical Industry a plus
  • Experience working across digital platforms, including web and mobile
  • Strong design portfolio with 2+ years' experience using video editing equipment and programs
  • Proficient in Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects
  • Mastery of video and audio editing software and programs
  • Experience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music, and transitions
  • Excellent visual design skills with solid understanding of digital production
  • Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with Cinema 4D, Animate a plus
  • Comfortable with Workfront or similar project management tools

Education/Qualifications/Certifications and Licenses:

  • Degree program or equivalent in design or computerrelated programs such as Web Design and Development, Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Interactive Computing, or Digital Media; or equivalent experience
  • Strong design portfolio with 2+ years' experience using video editing equipment and programs

Competencies:

  • Thorough communication and presentation skills and problemsolving aptitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work as an individual and as part of a team
