Stryker - Lead/Planner - Demand & Distribution

Position Summary:
Demand & Distribution planning involves monitoring Demand, Supply & Inventory management, working closely with key stakeholders internally (Sales, Marketing, Finance) and externally (Global supply chain).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities Area:

  • Focus on improving the forecasting process by engaging local & regional stakeholders through an effective EDR process with BU leaders.
  • Develop franchise-specific inventory and forecasting strategies.
  • Collaborate with regional stakeholders to implement best practices in forecasting and inventory management.
  • Explore new initiatives for process optimization & digitization to enhance short/medium-term planning.
  • Identify opportunities for Inventory and E&O optimization for franchises and work with finance and sales teams.
  • Review and monitor ROP and safety stock levels to improve service levels with optimized inventory.
  • Drive actions for inventory reduction and E&O liquidation in coordination with sales and finance.
  • Implement initiatives like MOQ and sea shipments to reduce inbound transportation costs.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels across all nodes for inventory hygiene.
  • Improve the NRP (Net Requirement Planning) process by engaging local & regional stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and establish review mechanisms for error-free product supply.

Qualifications & Experience:

Competencies and Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain.
    For MBA candidates, experience requirements can be flexible.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Solid analytical skills
  • Customer-focused mentality
  • Experience in P&L, cost management, or revenue management is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Ms Excel and Power BI

Educational Qualification:

  • Minimum Qualifications: Graduate and MBA from a reputable institution
  • APICS certification preferred

  • Ability to lead meetings with senior leadership
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills
  • High level of accountability
  • Proactive in supporting both internal and external stakeholders
