About the Role
As a Technical Product Manager at Smarsh, you will collaborate with the Enterprise Archive team to define, execute, and deliver a product roadmap that enhances customer value. You will contribute to shaping the team's strategy and vision, maintain product roadmaps based on the team's direction, and work across functions like engineering, design, operations, finance, and executive teams to launch consumer products successfully. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, thrive in a startup-like environment, and excel in creating high-quality products and applications that resonate with customers.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Develop product strategy, vision, and roadmaps with short, medium, and long-term features to fulfill the vision, in collaboration with outbound Product Managers.
- Collect product input and feedback from internal and external stakeholders to shape the backlog.
- Build consensus around the product vision internally and with external partners.
- Create detailed business requirements, user stories, and product specifications.
- Oversee the creation of all necessary artifacts for product delivery.
- Manage engineering teams to bring the product to market.
- Own capacity planning and prioritize backlog items based on capacity, feasibility, and market importance.
- Proactively address strategic issues that could impact the team's goals.
- Work collaboratively to identify customer needs and define solutions.
- Operate in a Dual-Track Agile methodology of discovery and delivery.
- Manage all technical documentation creation for internal and external use.
- Promote the strategy and roadmap with partner teams through effective collaboration and negotiation.
Basic Qualifications
8+ years of Product Management experience; Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, design, or related field; or equivalent work experience. Experience launching Enterprise products, cross-functional work, and strong analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for developing innovative consumer solutions.
- Experience in delivering Enterprise products in a high-growth environment.
- Familiarity with AWS services and architectures, with AWS Architecture certifications being a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with senior executives.
- Strong attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically in a fast-paced environment.
