We are looking for an individual enthusiastic about Small Cap Mutual Funds research and investments. Joining a team of analysts, the role involves evaluating small cap investment opportunities across various sectors, aiming to produce insightful research driving the company's capital allocation decisions.
- Conduct thorough quantitative and qualitative analysis of investment proposals
- Stay updated on industry trends and related markets
- Develop and maintain financial models
- Perform extensive industry research and analysis
- Prepare research reports, presentations, and updates
- Monitor corporate announcements, policies, and their impact on Equities and Portfolio
- Regularly track developments in investee companies through media updates and results
- Conduct regular portfolio analysis and participate in research meetings
- Be open to traveling for factory visits, management meetings, and conferences
Candidate Profile
- Must be curious and willing to work diligently
- Well-informed about various asset classes, macro issues, with a grasp of essential technical terms
- A keen interest and skill in analyzing financial information, strategic matters, and market trends on a global scale
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, financial modeling, and valuation techniques
- Sound understanding of accounting and investment principles with diverse educational backgrounds
A CFA certification would be advantageous. Good written and oral communication skills along with the ability to articulate and defend opinions with management are essential.
