Cloud Network & Security Solution SME Job Description Team Profile Key Elements (Mandatory) Technical An in-depth hands-on experience in design, document and implement Public (Azure, GCP), Private Cloud (ROS, OCI) Network & Security architectures, and connectivity to On-prem data centers.
Experienced in Cloud Network and Security infra solution design for the hybrid environment in using Cloud native and third party NVA technologies.
Design and deployment expertise is must in landing zone, vWAN Hub, Hub and Spoke topology, VNET/VPC peering with various options, Private link, L7 & L4 load balancing technologies, UBR, VGW, Traffic Manager, Front-door.
Expertise in IPv4 and IPv6 subnetting and VNET design to distribute DMZ, NonDMZ, App GW, PaaS services, NVA workloads.Internet facing and protected workload segregation using NVA/NSGs Multi-cloud to on-prem connectivity and inter site integration Experience in deploying Express-route, Cloud Interconnect and IPSec VPN Prepare solution design document, HLD, LLD, MoP, SoP.
Solution design for routing changes, new peering, route preference, traffic engineering, QoS. Extensive experience in conducting solution readiness assessments observing business and technical perspectives. Experience in conducting periodic reviews of capacity, inventory utilization, TCO analysis, and prepare business case with budget note. Experience in architecting large scale Hybrid cloud deployment topology and infra design as per application migration requirements. 1.2 Non-Technical Demonstrate the ability to solve complex, multi-system problems. Quick learning abilities with willing to explore new learning all time. Good Service, Process, Tools and KPI Orientation. Ability to work in a distributed/multicultural Team. Good Oral/Written Communication and able to interact at CXO level. Training and skill-set development. Multi location team coordination. Cross-function communication. Accountabilities and Outcomes/KPIs 2.1 Accountabilities Participate in Solution Strategy discussions:
Get involved in the requirement understanding and providing relevant technical input. Participate in preparing long term plans and short-term goals.
Requirement Understanding & assessment:
Determine use-cases, explore suitable solution options & feasibility, selecting of appropriate technology and solution options based on requirements. Responsible for defining tasks, scope, and efforts. Conduct PoCs. Requirement documentation and sign-off.
Planning and Solution Design:
Create solution blueprints for deploying dynamically scalable, available, fault-tolerant, and reliable applications across On-prem/cloud (Private, Public, Hybrid). Define deployment plan, define roadmap & strategic procedures and implementing cost-control strategies. Produce high level design documents and other technical project related artefacts. Solution presentations to leads, technical architects and application folks. Solution documentation and sign-off.
Information security compliance:
Induct the industry best practices and security guidelines in solution design. Coordination for controls deployment and assessment. Periodic assessment support.
Deployment:
Prepare low-level design document and deployment MoP/SoP to realize the solution in production, migration, expansion. Teamwork and manage cross-function communication for handover the deployed architecture to O&M for 24X7 support. Conduct knowledge sharing and provide handholding support.
Optimization:
Introduce and document operational best practices. Identify opportunities to improve existing solutions and processes. Learning from incidents. Capacity utilization monitoring and drive replacement/augmentation planning. Training and skill-set development: Participate in developing inhouse capabilities for deployment and operational support. Conduct training sessions for new hires and help them to participate in work.
Solution catalogue:
Identify use cases. Conduct PoCs. Prepare use case specific reference solutions. Cloud & on-prem integration: Deploy guidelines for integration of cloud workloads with on-premise monitoring and management tools (availability, performance & security etc.)
Ideate options to automate framework and repeat tasks. Multi-site deployments:
Design solutions for applications scattered across multiple DCs / cloud environment/hybrid environments
Migrations:
Define network solutions to support on-premise to cloud and vice-versa migrations
Framework Management:
Adhere to function management framework and organization policies. Prepare and manage SoPs, guideline documents. Align change, incident, problem, and capacity management of on-premises and cloud with existing processes. Maintain repository of deployed solutions. Periodic feedback of provided solutions for analysis and learning. Knowledge Transfer Mentoring & Training and skill-set development. Own internal trainings and workshops of his area. Take ownership of product rollout and end-user documentation. Create and Publish Knowledge Base articles and WIKI Documents. Strengthen the team/peer knowledge level in proactive manner. Additional Tasks Work as functional expert in de-escalation and war rooms. Provide extended and 24 hour coverage (When required).
Analyze Incident patterns and trends in area of functional expertise such as increasing incidents due to design failures and identify the root cause.
Identify supportability gaps and work on innovating/ improving supportability tools. Outcomes/KPIs Solution Share at Team Level & Individual Level. Quality of SolutionNo follow-up issues. Contribution to Knowledge building, Documenting Lessons Learned, Effective cascading of Knowledge. Quick Initial Response time. Educational & Experience Requirements 3.1 Education and qualifications / skills and competencies B.E / B.Tech from reputed Institute.

CCNA. Load balancers like F5, Citrix NetScaler etc. Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies
AZ300. Microsoft Azure Architect Design
AZ301. GCP certifications. 3.2 Work experience 8
12 years experience in Cloud Infrastructure design and deployment. At least 1-2 years supporting On-prem infrastructure will be an added advantage.
