Marine Engineer (PMS Data Specialist)

Aqua 49 Webstreet Technologies Pvt Ltd., a leading company in maritime technologies, is in search of an experienced Marine Engineer specialized in Planned Maintenance System (PMS) Data.

This key position is located in our Mohali, Punjab office, offering a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a strong grasp of marine PMS software and its database to join our vibrant team.


Responsibilities:
  • PMS Database Development: Collaborate with the team to develop Planned Maintenance System databases for various maritime ERP software.
  • Machinery/Component Hierarchy Design: Create detailed machinery/component hierarchies for different vessel types within the PMS database.
  • Data Management: Excel in Data Analysis, Data Quality, Data Cleansing, and Master Data management to maintain integrity and accuracy.
  • Database Migration: Lead Database Migration projects to enhance maintenance systems.
  • Remote Support & Technical Assistance: Provide support and technical assistance to vessels for PMS database.
  • Database Customization: Customize the database to meet client requirements, ensuring adaptability and efficiency.
  • Data Validation & Integration: Validate data for accurate migration and oversee integration, performance testing, QA, and functionality.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Marine Engineer Sailing experience required, experience with PMS software is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and team management skills, with the ability to provide technical support and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Eligible Ranks to Apply: Jr. Engineer (min. 1 contract sailing experience), 4th Engineer, 3rd Engineer, 2nd Engineer.
