THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead our Data Platform Team, a critical role designed to harness the power of data to fuel our business growth and scalability. As a key player in our organization, you will strategise, develop, and execute data-driven initiatives that streamline our engineering process, enhance our product offerings, and support our business intelligence features.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Leadership: Be the product leader of the Data Platform Team. Gather requirements from other product/engineering stakeholders and business owners, write requirements, prioritize relevant product backlogs, maintain product roadmaps, and provide documentation and training as needed. Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between the Data Platform Team and other business units. Manage competing priorities and align teams to ensure on-time deliveries. Communicate product visions, roadmap, priorities, and progress to stakeholders, including senior leadership. Strategy Development: Conduct technology and architecture research. Define and execute the data platform strategy to support engineering needs and further scale our business. Innovation and Scalability: Identify and implement innovative data solutions that enhance product value and user experience. Ensure the data platform scales effectively with the business, supporting growth and operational efficiency. Market and Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to inform product strategy and positioning. Data Governance and Quality: Establish and enforce data governance standards and practices to ensure data integrity, quality, and security. Oversee the management of data assets, including data sourcing, storage, and accessibility.

QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred. 5+ years of experience in product management or related field, with a strong technical background in data platforms, analytics, or similar. Proven track record of delivering data-driven products and solutions that have contributed to business growth and scalability. Deep understanding of data technologies, architectures, and best practices. Experience with cloud-based data solutions, AWS is preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Familiarity with the payment industry and regulatory environments is a plus.
