Cost Accountant

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
• Analyze and recommend costs and cost savings.
• Prepare and complete internal cost audits.
• Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.
• Analyze the data collected and log a detailed record of the results.
• Analyze any changes in goods or services provided to determine their impact on costs.
• Make estimates of new and proposed product costs.
• Provide management with reports comparing factors affecting prices and profitability.
• Assist in audits and general ledger preparation.
• Collect cost information and maintain an expenses database.
• Construct data accumulation systems.
• Determine fixed costs (e.g. salaries, rent, insurance).
• Plan and record variable costs (e.g. purchases of raw material, operations costs).
• Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.
• Prepare budgeting reports for the company and each department.
• Analyze and report profit margins.
• Prepare cost forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closings.
• Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting field.
• Has completed CMA Final (ICWA).
• Certified public accountant (CPA) license (required).
• At least 1+ years of experience in Healthcare/Hospital domain.
• Immediate Joiner.
