With the growing trend of organizations transitioning their critical systems to the cloud, AWS India is seeking skilled technical consultants to assist our most significant and strategically vital clients in navigating the operational hurdles and intricacies of the AWS Cloud.

We are currently on the lookout for Senior Technical Consultants who can support our customers in their quest for creative and transformative innovation across various technologies, encompassing Compute, Storage, Database, Data Analytics, Application Services, Networking, Server-less, and more.

This role does not involve sales tasks; instead, it presents an opportunity to serve as the primary technical advisor for a diverse range of organizations, from startups to large enterprises.


As a Senior Technical Account Manager, you will function as the main technical liaison for one or multiple customers, aiding in the planning, debugging, and supervision of the continuous operations of critical business applications.

You will be hands-on, delving into troubleshooting application, network, database, and architectural issues using a set of internal AWS Cloud tools, in addition to your existing expertise and toolsets.

We are in search of individuals with solid backgrounds in IT Consulting and any of the associated fields such as Solution Designing, Application and System Development, Database Management, Big Data and Analytics, DevOps Consulting, as well as Healthcare & Life Sciences technologies. Knowledge of programming and scripting is advantageous for this role.

  • Acquire and utilize cutting-edge Cloud technologies.
  • Engage with leading technologists globally.
  • Address critical, highly complex customer issues that may span multiple AWS Cloud services.
  • Employ advanced troubleshooting methods to offer unique solutions tailored to our customers' specific requirements.
  • Collaborate directly with AWS Cloud subject matter experts to help replicate and resolve customer concerns.
  • Produce tutorials, how-to videos, and other technical content for the customer community.
  • Capitalize on your extensive customer support background and provide input to internal AISPL teams on enhancing our services.
  • Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing support-related processes and elevating our customers' technical support experience.
  • Contribute to the Design/Architecture of AWS and Hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Guide Enterprises in defining IT and business processes that align effectively with cloud deployments.
  • Be accessible beyond regular working hours to aid in coordinating the resolution of critical issues as required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Math, or a related field essential, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum of 15 years hands-on experience in Infrastructure/Troubleshooting/Systems Administration/Networking/DevOps/Applications Development within a distributed systems environment.
  • Previous experience as a technical lead directly interacting with enterprise customers, possessing strong verbal and written communication skills for presentations to audiences of all sizes.
  • Capability to oversee multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced setting.
  • Willingness to be mobile and travel to client sites as necessary.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive expertise in four or more of the following areas: Software Design or Development, Content Distribution/CDN, Scripting/Automation, Database Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Cloud Migrations, IP Networking, IT Security, Big Data/Hadoop/Spark, Operations Management, Service-Oriented Architecture, etc.
  • Background in a 24x7 operational services or support environment.
  • Familiarity with AWS Cloud services and/or other cloud service offerings.
