Job Description

  • Direct responsibility for legal entity Financial statements, ensuring thorough analysis and reviews, and exercising judgment
  • Execution of month-end accounting & reporting, including variance analysis and drafting supporting commentary
  • Accountability for entity Balance Sheets, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, and identifying and managing potential risks
  • Overseeing Entity Audit & Compliance – Providing support for Internal & Statutory audits and ensuring completion
  • Assessing revenues, costs, and profitability at both client and entity levels of operations
  • Tracking and reporting on performance against forecasts & budgets
  • Spotting areas of risk, under-performance, improvement, and opportunity and devising action plans to rectify them
  • Developing, evaluating, and analyzing regional budgets
  • Ensuring financial compliance with contracts
  • Involvement in various reporting obligations including Variance Reporting, KPI Reporting, Cash flow analysis, and reviews of P&L and Balance Sheets
  • Monitoring debtors, creditors, as well as accrued and deferred income
  • Supporting on-site business teams (Accounts Executives, Accounts Directors, Finance Managers, and Directors)
  • Identifying process enhancements to aid the management team and enhance information flow across the division
  • Addressing ad-hoc queries from on-site counterparts within and outside the division
  • Completing all process-related MI's and governance tools
  • Providing support and cover for other members/team members of the finance team as necessary
  • Supervising and leading the entity accounting team

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Accountant with over 12 years of relevant experience, either a qualified/Semi Qualified Accountant (CA/CWA/CIMA/ACCA) or an MBA in Finance with a minimum of 7-10 years of pertinent experience. R2R/Core finance Domain knowledge.
  • Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills
  • Effective organizational skills to ensure completion of multiple tasks within tight reporting deadlines
  • Strong Excel skills are crucial considering the nature of the responsibilities
  • Demonstrated expertise in finance fundamentals

Candidates from Kerala or those willing to move to Kerala will receive preference.
