Your application is under review for a position at an Alight Inc group company which is undergoing a transition to HIG Capital. The role involves overseeing Cost Management for a specific department along with Analysis, Reporting, and Stakeholder Management. The candidate will collaborate with various teams to deliver Budget, Forecast, and Variance analysis periodically. Strong communication skills are essential to handle both routine and unexpected tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate should be proactive, able to work independently across teams, and problem-solve effectively.
- Prepare detailed budgets and forecasts with stakeholder input.
- Create insightful management reports.
- Review performance reports at local and regional levels.
- Define KPIs and manage ad-hoc reporting needs.
- Ensure accuracy of data.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and Finance Partners.
- Support stakeholders in meeting cost targets.
- Exceed stakeholder expectations and contribute to decision-making.
- Standardize budget templates across functions.
- Develop templates for ad-hoc reporting.
- Create presentations for management decisions.
- Maintain detailed vendor data.
- Assist in accurate cost forecasting processes.
- Track functional expenses and procurement.
- Analyze variances and provide commentary.
- Manage team to deliver timely and accurate insights.
- Understanding of accounting standards and managing accruals.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Workday and Adaptive Planning is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills for meeting tight deadlines.
Education: Minimum Graduate in Commerce (preferred) / ACA/ACCA/CMA/CIMA/MBA (Finance)
Experience: 6-8 years in FP&A domain
