About the Role:

  • This Quality Assurance position involves spearheading the development and implementation of automated testing solutions.

About the Team:

  • The team is structured in squads, with each squad comprising a Squad Lead, Business Analyst, Dev Lead, Developers, and Testers. This setup fosters seamless collaboration among team members and accelerates task completion by uniting all resources towards dedicated goals.

About the Job Purpose:

  • You will collaborate with a highly skilled Agile development team to deliver software in partnership with commercial stakeholders. The ideal candidate should be ready to jump into testing applications, setting up test automation scenarios, and managing releases efficiently.

About the Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the scrum team in coordination with Product Owners, BAs, Developers, Architects, and other teams.
  • Collaborate with the team as necessary to detect failures early, ensuring the delivery of top-quality products to users.
  • Create test scenarios based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Execute tests, share results with root cause analysis, and report defects with all pertinent details.
  • Develop a robust automation framework and implement automation for various test scenarios to enhance testing effectiveness.
  • Attain a high automation coverage for all team-delivered products.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to establish builds in the CI/CD pipeline for running automated tests in different environments.
  • Continuously maintain the automation framework, take ownership of all testing deliveries, manage releases, and promote best practices department-wide.

About the Requirements:

Primary Skill: BDD + Creating Test Plans + Automation Testing + CI/CD + API.

  • 4+ years of overall work experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in testing methodologies with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Solid experience in automation frameworks like Webdriver IO, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in API testing and Agile, BDD, CI/CD approaches.
  • Experience with project management tools like Azure DevOps/Test Plan or Jira, source control, and designing test strategies and processes.
  • Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and technologies.
