About our Team:

Our team is structured in Squads, with each Squad comprising a Squad Lead, Business Analyst, Development Lead, Developers, and Testers. This Squad setup fosters better connectivity among team members and enables us to deliver quickly, as all resources collaborate as a unified group on specific tasks.

About the Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include designing and developing intricate software solutions, offering insights for project plans, schedules, and methods for creating cross-functional software products. Additionally, you will mentor junior members and work together with them to translate customer demands into effective solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, modify, and implement batch applications and REST APIs
  • Develop microservices or middleware APIs using a micro-service styled architecture
  • Collaborate with other technical team members to finalize requirements
  • Write detailed specifications for complex system components
  • Implement DevOps strategies in existing and new projects
  • Work closely with the development team to translate product requirements into software designs
  • Implement coding best practices and conduct code reviews
  • Operate in different development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while engaging with key stakeholders
  • Resolve technical issues as needed
  • Stay updated on new technology trends
  • Design and work with complex data models
  • Perform any other assigned duties

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of software development experience with Golang, Angular, and Rest API
  • 2 years of unit test code writing experience
  • 1 year of experience with Microservices asynchronous event-driven programming or event messaging programming under a pub/sub model
  • Knowledge of Docker containers, Kubernetes, and Kubernetes CLI
  • Experience with message brokers or streaming platforms such as RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, and others
  • Proficiency in other development languages such as PowerShell, Python, and SQL
  • Familiarity with data storage subsystems and relational databases
  • Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies
  • Experience with DevOps and Continuous Integration/Delivery tools
  • Working experience with major Cloud vendors like AWS or Azure
  • Good communication skills
