Internal Communication Specialist

As the Internal Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing internal communication strategies and creating visually compelling graphics to support various communication channels within the organization. This role requires a creative thinker with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive internal communication strategies to effectively disseminate information to employees.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify communication needs and objectives.
  • Create engaging content for internal newsletters, emails, intranet, and other communication platforms.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all internal communication channels.
  • Design and produce visually appealing graphics, including infographics, presentations, posters, and digital media content.
  • Translate complex ideas and data into easy-to-understand visual representations.
  • Maintain and update design templates and brand guidelines.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand design requirements and deliver high-quality visual assets within deadlines.
  • Write and edit content for internal communication materials, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with company values.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and insights for communication campaigns.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Partner with HR, Marketing, and other departments to support company-wide initiatives and campaigns.
  • Act as a liaison between different departments to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues on internal communication best practices and graphic design principles.

Graphic Design:

  • Craft compelling narratives through visual elements, language content and use storytelling principles to convey message and engage audiences.
  • Conceptualize and design visual elements for internal communications.
  • Create and manipulate graphic elements (photos, logos, themes) for various materials.
  • Incorporate story telling for data representation.
  • Create visually engaging presentations and templates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Design banners for digital communications such as e-blasts, invitations, newsletters, and alerts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field.
  • 0-3 Years proven experience in internal communications, graphic design, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Preferable to have experience with HTML programming.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of best practices in internal communication and graphic design.
