Role Summary:

As Project Manager, you will provide project management support to the Helix SaaS Operations team at BMC.

We are looking out experienced Project Manager with very strong in Jira/MPP & Confluence experience who embodies an Agile mindset and is passionate about empowering an Agile culture. You will be coaching, guiding, and supporting executives, managers, product owners, Scrum Masters, and others. Your superpower? Customer engagement and application of established processes and procedures for upgrading our customers to new versions of our products.

The ideal candidate will understand the components of a cloud infrastructure. Prior experience in managing projects around Remedy development, upgrade & server infrastructure at a cloud computing setting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

Plan, lead, and manage cross-functional programs with complex inter-dependencies with other teams within BMC SaaS Operations and other teams, such as Support, Sales and R&D. Deliver SaaS Operations projects on frequent and regular cadence using Agile Software development life cycle practices. Define, operationalize, and continuously improve cross functional processes, tools and practices to perform / update resource tiling in response to changes in business priorities, and roadmap planning.

·Set the foundation for being a trusted advisor by acting as a dependable collaborator, building trust, and modelling positive behaviours with other individuals within SaaS Operations and across the organization.

Influence change across programs and functional areas by working across all levels of the organization to define and execute strategies for successful SaaS Operations; get hands-on in enabling the incremental delivery of value Managing projects for public clouds (Azure/ AWS/Google/IBM) and understanding of Cloud service offerings. Manging Data Center Build projects and managing complex inter dependencies. Managing Software development life cycle, projects Dev-Ops tools, CI/CD workflow, Jenkins. Managing automation projects, working with product team and Devops team for the requirements Good understanding of SRE and DevOps fundamentals Manage Remedy upgrade projects across various Data Centers. Manage Remedy migration projects from On-prem setup to SaaS setup using migration tools and techniques. Manage programs, define milestones and success criteria, and allocate resources. Develop tools and processes to improve software engineering productivity. Exercise technical judgment in working with large, cross-functional teams. Build positive, trusting relationships through consistent, on-time delivery of commitments and effective communication.

QUALIFICATION:

REQUIRED SKILLS:

·BS in Computer Science in Computer Science, Business management, Engineering, or equivalent

·8+ years' experience managing complex projects / programs, either as line manager or program manager or senior technical member, in high tech company with SaaS operations

·Experience in working with cross-functional internal and external teams

·Understanding of Software development life cycle, Dev-Ops tools, CI/CD workflow

·Demonstrate experience in lead projects which include working with public clouds like AWS/Azure/ Google Cloud and microservices using container technology such as Docker, Kubernetes etc.

·Excellent analytical, quantitative reasoning, problem solving, creativity and strategic skills

·Demonstrated success in leading programs and teams, planning and tracking execution, gaining consensus, resolving issues, creating and triggering mitigation plans, and leading process improvement initiatives

·Superior communications skill, written and verbal.
