Interoperability Specialist

Summary

We are looking for a customer driven Interoperability Specialist. In this role you are a main point of contact for the providers during the discovery stage, helping them solve their pain points prior to the extraction process. As an Interoperability Specialist, you must be able to effectively communicate the benefits to a physician group to DataLink as efficiently as possible to cause the least amount of interruption. We are contracted with major national payors to collect CCDA information for reporting.

Essential Functions

  • Become a product expert.
  • Document client needs and develop a plan that support business processes.
  • Assist external clients in the coordination of the extraction and SFTP process.
  • Define and execute a plan for delivery of CCDA files.
  • Coordinate the next steps.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Present and demonstrate company products and services to clients, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM software.
  • Delegate tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them.
  • Identify and manage potential risks and liabilities of multiple projects.
  • Adjust schedules and targets on the project as needed.
  • Serve as primary physician office point of contact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field and/or equivalent experience (preferred but not required)
  • 3-5 years' experience in health care for professional services and or customer service, health care consulting or public speaking, knowledge of physician practice operations or EMRs a plus.
  • International Voice process experience
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint, One Note, Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Excellent communication Written / Verbal, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to convey information in an easy-to-understand way
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at any given time and stay on top of the details of each
  • Positive attitude and very customer-centric; always willing to put the customers needs first
  • A self-starter and quick learner, comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift constantly, embracing change and ambiguous situations and messages
