About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned SEO writer to craft engaging, informative content that persuades professionals to enroll in our global university partners' programs.
You will write SEO-optimized long-form articles and have the acumen to conduct in-depth research and integrate keywords strategically with the aim of improving visibility and search engine ranking.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of our product portfolio to develop content that helps potential learners with decision making
- Brainstorm and conduct keyword analysis to come up with content ideas for new initiatives and optimize existing content
- Revise and edit content meticulously before publication to ensure clarity
- Manage the content calendar, take ownership of content development, meet timelines, and ensure timely publication
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends in SEO and content marketing, applying this knowledge to content strategies
- Ensure allaround consistency according to brand and editorial guidelines
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in English/Communication/Journalism 5+ years of experience in digital writing with a robust understanding of the latest SEO tactics
- Proficient in content management systems, particularly WordPress, to seamlessly write, review, edit, and publish content
- A background in journalism, content marketing, or longform content creation
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with the higher education/business school market is preferred
- Flexibility in working across multiple time zones is essential as we are a globally distributed team
