Summary:

Responsibilities:

Data Entry and Validation:
Accurately enter and maintain data in databases, spreadsheets, or other data management systems. Validate and verify data to ensure accuracy and consistency. Perform data cleansing activities to correct any errors or inconsistencies

Data Documentation:
Maintain and update data documentation, including data dictionaries, data definitions, and metadata. Ensure data documentation is up to date and accessible to relevant stakeholders. Assist in the creation and maintenance of data catalogs and repositories

Data Quality Control:
Monitor data quality and identify any anomalies or inconsistencies. Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to address data quality issues. Follow data quality standards and procedures to maintain data integrity

Data Reporting and Analysis:
Assist in generating routine and ad-hoc reports based on predefined templates or user requirements. Perform basic data analysis and identify trends or patterns in the data. Support data analysts in data extraction and transformation processes

Data Privacy and Security:
Adhere to data privacy and security policies and procedures. Maintain data confidentiality and handle sensitive data appropriately. Report any data security incidents or breaches to the relevant authorities.

  • Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams or clients to understand data requirements and resolve data-related issues. Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding data management processes and updates. Participate in meetings and provide input on data management initiatives

Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement within data management operations. Propose and implement solutions to enhance data management efficiency and effectiveness. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data management

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in commerce, science, information systems, or a related field. Prior experience in data management, data entry, or data-related roles is preferred. Proficiency in data entry and database management tools. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in working with data. Basic knowledge of data management principles and practices. Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations is a plus. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
