ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain scalable data pipelines for analytics use cases in service operations areaAssemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements; own the delivery of data modelling and data pipelinesDevelop technical & physical data models using optimal data model structure for data warehouse and data mart designs to support organizational needsIdentify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etcCollaborate with technology and platform management partners to optimize data sourcing and processing rules to ensure appropriate data qualityHands-on role (%) - building data solutions using best practices and architecture recommendationsAssist the Data Engineering team produce high-quality code, shape next generation of data platform and guide/mentor other DE team membersQualificationsBachelor's / Master's in engineering (Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or similar)

ETL/Data pipeline tools related Azure and Databricks certifications will be an added advantageRelevant hands-on experience in data modeling and data engineering, with proven history of applying data engineering for enabling business analyticsPrevious experience from exposure to multi-cultural and international organizationsHas been working as a Data Engineer for 7+ years, with an overall experience of 8- years including lead developer role mentoring junior developersCompetenciesData Engineering Experience:
Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with modern datawarehousing, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases (RDBMS, Datawarehouse, Datalake)
