  • The Senior Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR function within an organization.

  • The Senior HR Manager works closely with executive leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that promote a positive work culture, attract top talent, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Responsibilities at Pepper:

Talent Acquisition and Retention:

  • Lead recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent.
  • Develop effective sourcing strategies to build a diverse candidate pool.
  • Oversee the selection process, including interviews and hiring decisions.
  • Implement strategies to reduce turnover and enhance employee engagement.

Employee Relations and Engagement:

  • Foster a work environment that boosts morale, productivity, and teamwork.
  • Resolve employee relations issues promptly and fairly.
  • Implement engagement initiatives like recognition programs and professional development opportunities.

Performance Management:

  • Develop and execute performance management processes to assess employee needs.
  • Provide guidance to managers on feedback and career development.
  • Implement improvement plans when necessary.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Establish HR policies reflecting best practices and legal requirements.
  • Conduct audits to identify and mitigate HR risks.

HR Systems and Analytics:

  • Oversee HR information systems to streamline processes and maintain data accuracy.
  • Utilize analytics to track performance indicators and make informed decisions.
  • Provide insights to support data-driven strategies.

Leadership and Development:

  • Provide leadership to the HR team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Mentor team members and offer growth opportunities.
  • Advise senior management on HR matters.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of HR experience, with at least 4 in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification a plus.
