  • The HR Director collaborates closely with senior management to create and implement HR strategies that nurture a positive work culture, attract top talent, and ensure compliance with employment laws.

Responsibilities at Pepper:

Strategic HR Planning:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies in line with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Work with senior management to identify and prioritize key HR initiatives supporting the organization's growth and success.

Talent Acquisition and Retention:

  • Lead recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent.
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to build a diverse candidate pool.
  • Oversee the selection process, including interviews, assessments, and hiring decisions.
  • Implement retention strategies to reduce turnover and enhance employee engagement.

Employee Relations and Engagement:

  • Cultivate a positive work environment that boosts employee morale, productivity, and teamwork.
  • Address employee relations issues promptly and fairly.
  • Introduce employee engagement initiatives like recognition programs and professional development opportunities.

Performance Management:
Develop and implement performance management processes and tools to evaluate employee performance and development needs.

  • Offer guidance and coaching to managers on performance feedback and career development.
  • Implement performance improvement plans when needed and ensure adherence to standards.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures to align with best practices and legal requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate HR-related risks.

HR Systems and Analytics:

  • Supervise HR information systems to streamline processes and ensure data accuracy.
  • Utilize HR analytics to track key performance indicators and support decision-making.
  • Generate reports to back data-driven HR strategies.

Leadership and Development:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, encouraging collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and develop HR team members, offering growth opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on HR matters.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10 to 12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership position.
  • Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability in strategic thinking and problem-solving.
  • Proven capability to build effective relationships across all organizational levels.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification is a bonus.
