About the Role:
As our Backend Engineer, you will be at the heart of our software development efforts, driving innovation and excellence.
You will play a pivotal role in Sheshi AI's growth and technological advancement.

One day you might be designing a scalable web service architecture, the next, you could be troubleshooting and optimizing code for performance.

Your expertise will help shape the future of our product.

What You Will Do:

Software Design and Development:
Be part of the development team to define project scope and scale.
Design and develop software system architecture and implement scalable web services, applications, and APIs.
Write both low-level and high-level code, following best practices.

Optimization and Troubleshooting:
Identify bottlenecks and improve software efficiency.
Troubleshoot and fix bugs to ensure smooth operation.

Collaboration and Documentation:
Collaborate with the other teams to design and develop newer products or features.
Write and maintain technical documents to support ongoing development and maintenance.

Who should apply?

Must have:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4 to 6 years of industry experience in software development.
Proficient in backend development with on the back end.
Expert in relational databases and SQL (My SQL, Postgre SQL, Oracle, or SQL Server).
Experience with No SQL databases (e.g., Mongo DB, Dynamo DB) is a plus.
Experience with RESTful services, APIs, and integrations with external systems.
Experience developing applications in public cloud environments, preferably AWS.

Advanced user of software development tools, including source code repositories, code review tools, test case management, issue management, and documentation.

Strong experience working in an Agile environment with a solid understanding of the SCRUM process.

Good to have:
Experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment).
Experience with Python.
Experience in AI/ML-based application development.
