Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Automation Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks.
  • Tool Selection: Evaluate and recommend appropriate test automation tools and technologies.
  • Best Practices: Establish and enforce test automation best practices, coding standards, and guidelines.
  • Continuous Integration/Delivery: Integrate test automation with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Test Planning: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define test automation requirements, objectives, and scope.
  • Test Execution and Reporting: Oversee the execution of automated test scripts and ensure accurate reporting of test results.
  • Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the test automation team.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure highquality deliverables by identifying and addressing potential issues early in the development cycle.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test automation frameworks, processes, and tools.
  • Innovation: Stay uptodate with the latest trends and advancements in test automation and implement innovative solutions where Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in test automation.
  • Proven experience as a Test Architect or in a similar leadership role.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
  • Handson experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
