ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting AstraZeneca's Global Supply Chain & Strategy function. Your responsibilities will include gathering requirements, analyzing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing system enhancements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of supply chain operations, analytical skills, and effective communication abilities to work with cross-functional teams.

Your key tasks involve grasping business requirements, analyzing solutions, and making strategic decisions based on business priorities. Agile and Waterfall methodologies are used, making project management experience valuable.

In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues across OpsIT and C4Es to pinpoint necessary capabilities for proposing and implementing solutions for business requirements.

Essential for the role

  • Hands-on experience with innovative technology solutions
  • Skills in articulating requirements and documenting processes
  • Track record of project delivery
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional influencing, networking, and team working skills
  • Knowledge of supply chain business processes and systems

Desirable for the role

  • Experience leading small to medium project teams
  • Technical expertise in supply chain systems like OMP, SAP APO, SAP ECC, and/or S/4 HANA
  • Degree in relevant field or certifications in business analysis or project management
  • Exposure to Agile and Waterfall delivery
  • Global organization experience
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical business domain
