Responsibilities:

  • Finalization of services like specially civil, mechanical, AMC / ARC, breakdown / shutdown, manpower based on minimum wages etc by ensuring CSM standard & compliances.
  • Timely and cost-effective procurement of MRO items. Capital goods/spares/consumables and services which meets quality standards and daily requirements of industry
  • Floating RFQ, collecting offers from suppliers, preparation of comparison statement, raising approval note in system and preparation of purchase order and contracts.
  • Knowledge about SAP ARIBA for P2P cycle
  • Negotiating with vendors and finalizing the purchase order as per predefined SOP.
  • Tracking of order and ensuring of timely delivery of materials.
  • Coordinating with cross functional teams for supply chain activities – following up with vendors for on time delivery and resolution of any urgency
  • Reducing overall cost by developing alternate vendors and OEM substitutions
  • Developing annual rate contracts for regular consuming goods and spares to have economical advantage and reduced lead time
  • Maintenance of supplier and data and preparation of monthly MIS reports
  • Other tasks assigned time to time

Education Qualification:

  • BE

Deliverables:

  • Alternate/new vendor Development
  • Planning and coordinating with cross functional department
  • Meeting KRA as per defined SOP
  • Timely conclusion of PR to PO within specified time frame
  • Responsible for maintaining data, contracts, purchase orders, supporting documents and approval note.

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the area in similar capacity.

Knowledge:

  • Ability to assess supplier capabilities.
  • Knowledge of methods of invoicing
  • Knowledge of resource planning and management
  • Product knowledge, taxation rules, value of product being handled.
  • Knowledge of auditing
