Lead Salesforce DeveloperRole SummaryReports to C2C Centre of Excellence and works with other colleagues across the wider programme team.

We are looking for a Lead Salesforce Developer who will play a key role in our C2C programme and development of our Salesforce/Conga environment.

You will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of customizations, applications, extensions and integrations.

You will work with a team of fellow engineers and collaborate with the wider C2C team to translate business needs into effective and scalable products within our environment.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of all programmatic requests.

You will work alongside our Programme and Engineering teams to collaborate on specifications based on stakeholder requirements, validate the proposals, and deliver the solutions.

This role comes with the potential to grow and manage your own team of developers over time.

Core Duties/ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Build Salesforce applications using Apex and Visualforce and leverage the full capabilities of our Salesforce platformDevelop, implement and maintain Salesforce customizations, applications, extensions and integrationsCreate/modify existing controllers, controller extensions, and triggersDevelop intuitive UI using Visualforce/Lightning, JavaScript, JQuery and HTML technologiesUse Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization, and collaborate with other systems teams in order to integrate across the businessParticipate in the planning/analysis of business requirements for system changes and enhancementsAssist with the planning of application changes, development, and installation of upgrades and new releasesSupport the creation of testing and implementation plans, user training and documentationApply best practices and design patterns of best-of-breed applications, Develop, document and enforce application standards and proceduresSupporting the Salesforce AdministratorRemain current with Salesforce technologies and best practices.

Overseeing the operational activities of platform development team and ensure that the team provide high quality platform engineering services with respect to core administration and configuration of C2C platformsPlatform Lead is responsible for understanding business requests to perform impact analysis, draw technical solution and articulate technical feasibilities to the business usersCollaborate with key stakeholders to manage the planning to execution process of C2C platform engineering and development.

Acts as a point of contact for platform development team and liaising with programme team and the other business users to ensure smooth completion of joint BAU tasks/deliverablesMaintain transparency into the team's work and also track and communicate the team progress.

Line Management of the platform development team in respect of pastoral care, performance management and personal development in line with EQ core valuesFacilitate daily stand-ups and triage the business request with team to ensure organized work cultureWork with cross functional teams if required (e.g. Finance, HR & IT) to coordinate the alignment of multiple business areas.

Skills, Capabilities and AttributesThe successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and behaviours:
Overall 7+ years of Salesforce Developer experience, ideally in Sales, Service and Marketing Cloud environments. Conga QTC experience also desirableCurrent Salesforce certifications (App Builder, Platform Developer I. Platform Developer II a bonus)Proficiency with development including modification of standard objects and fields and creation of custom objects and fields.

Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio, Salesforce Lightning Design System and the Salesforce development lifecycle, including Apex, Visualforce and SOQL development, design, configuration, testing and deployment of solutionsProven experience in developing intuitive UI using Visualforce/Lightning, JavaScript, JQuery and HTML technologiesIn depth knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and JSON/XML, and experience building integrations with Salesforce.comAdvanced knowledge of Salesforce permissions, roles, reports, dashboards, etc.

Experience with Agile development methodologies and toolchains. Azure DevOps experience desirable.

Excellent troubleshooting skillsAble to work independently, and able to collaborate and communicate effectively with other programme team membersExcellent organizational and time management skillsA desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based support environmentBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field desirableActive in the Salesforce community.
